The overall performance though is a little lacklustre. Although all members are technically proficient and the quality excellent the music is too overcomplicated and lacking direction. Too many ideas are fighting to get out and no one is taking charge and telling them when to stop.
Next up Fucked Up from Toronto Canada. Fucked Up by name, but 'effin great by nature. Evoking the sounds of Hatebreed and Avail; they rock hard from start to finish. Nothing ground breaking, but I don't care. Tight, passionate, melodic, brutal and brilliant.
Finally it's time for the main event and hell yeah The Bronx don't disappoint. As tight a band as your ever going to see, they are an absolute blast for the entire set. Matt Caughthran is in and out of the crowd like a man possessed and vocally spot on throughout. This band should be on everybody's must see live wishlist.
With songs such as 'False Alarm', 'Stop The Bleeding', and 'Notice Of Eviction' being highlights in the near perfect set. The only let down is every now and then the soundman would seemingly go deaf, add too much delay to the vocals and destroy the sound to the point of feedback. All in all though 10 out of 10 for The Bronx, outstanding.
