Roger Daltrey has announced this year's line-up for the Teenage Cancer Trust Shows at the Royal Albert Hall taking place from Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th April 2016.
The line up for the 16th year of fundraising concerts include David Gilmour, New Order, The Vaccines, Everything Everything, Bring Me the Horizon, Simply Red and John Bishop.
Teenage Cancer Trust patron and The Who front man, Roger Daltrey has been the driving force behind the concerts which have raised tens of millions pounds for young people with cancer since they began in 2000. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the first Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000.
The music and comedy shows are Teenage Cancer Trust's flagship annual fundraising event. The money raised makes a massive difference to the lives of thousands of young people with cancer across the UK. As the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting teenagers and young adults with cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust relies on donations to fund a range of services that aim to improve their quality of life and chances of survival. All proceeds from the shows go towards providing this specialist care and support for young people with cancer.
The line-up announced is:
Tuesday 19th April - An evening of comedy with John Bishop and special guests
Wednesday 20th April - The Vaccines, and Everything Everything
Thursday 21st April - Simply Red plus very special guests
Friday 22nd April - Bring Me the Horizon plus very special guests
Saturday 23rd April - New Order plus very special guests
Sunday 24th April - David Gilmour
Tickets are priced from £25 (plus booking fees) and will go on sale on Friday, 19th January at 9am, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
