news: Tuesday 29th April 2014

Alt rockers Jane's Addiction will celebrate the final week of the 25th anniversary of the release of their 'Nothing's Shocking' album with two very special and exclusive UK shows this August in London and Manchester, in which the band will perform the entire track listing of their acclaimed studio debut.

Lead singer Perry Farrell said, "When we started planning to do a few of these events for 'Shocking' we really felt that we absolutely had to make London and Manchester part of the celebration.

"The fans there and in the UK played such a strong part in making it special the first time around."

Originally released in 1988, and featuring tracks including 'Jane Says', Standing in the Shower... Thinking', Pig's in Zen', Mountain Song', and Ocean Size' the album was sold in a brown cover sleeve in the UK, as the naked imagery on the cover was considered too indecent.

The band will play:

Wed 20 August O2 Academy, Brixton
Thu 21 August O2 Apollo, Manchester

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 2nd May priced £39.50 London, and £37.50 Manchester, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
