The Maccabees announce January tour

Brighton indie rockers The Maccabees have announced a January 2012 headline UK tour, to coincide with the release of their third studio album 'Given To The Wild' set to be released on 9th January.

The announcement of these much anticipated live dates comes following a recent sold out low key tour of intimate venues where the band road tested their new material.

The tour includes a Brixton O2 Academy date, and will be the third time they have headlined there, having previously performed two sold out shows at the London venue in 2009.

The UK dates for The Maccabees tour are as follows:

Mon 23 January QMU, Glasgow
Tue 24 January O2 Academy, Newcastle upon Tyne
Thu 26 January Brixton O2 Academy, London
Fri 27 January HMV Institute, Birmingham
Sat 28 January HMV Ritz, Manchester

Tickets are £15 and go on sale at 9am this Friday 11th November, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
