As half of the legendary duo, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon was one of the most influential songwriters of the 1960s and 70s, and his status as both a solo singer-songwriter and as one half of perhaps the most influential popular music duo of all time, is at least one step above legendary.
The tour will celebrate the release of of Paul's latest album 'So Beautiful Or So What', his first new record in five years, due out in June.
The set list is likely to draw from his iconic career, including 'Mrs Robinson', 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Graceland', 'Mother And Child Reunion' and several songs that haven't been performed live in many years.
Also included in the set will be songs from his brand new album. Joining Paul for this tour is a stellar band of musicians including Cameroonian guitarist Vincent Nguini, drummer Jim Oblon and pianist Mick Rossi, There is also saxophonist/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.
