Frank Turner will celebrate his 1000th ever live show as special guest at the Strummerville Spring Sessions taking place the night before Good Friday, on Thursday 21st April at Hearn Street Carpark, East London from 8pm - 6am.

The Strummerville bash will present the charity's crop of new talent with Strummerville bands including The Barker Band, Benjamin Folke Thomas, The Great Whale, La Rabla Fam, Shooting Star Poets, The Vagabounds, Bastille, Dark Moon, The Joker And The Thief, The Lights, Tom And The Tides, and The Welcome Committee. They will be followed by The Maccabees DJ set and One Love Soundsystem rounding things off.

Strummerville, The Joe Strummer New Music Foundation is a registered charity that gives support and hope to aspiring musicians and help to projects that help to change the world through music.

Strummerville said, "These bi-annual showcases are always real highlights for us and it's exciting to present some of the broad spectrum of the talent we have been helping. Having Frank give us this support is really special for everyone involved, it's artists like Frank that make us all keep believing..."

Frank Turner added, "The 1000th show is going to be a big landmark, and to be honest I was at a loss as to how to mark it - but when my good friends at Strummerville got in touch, it made perfect sense - a massive party to mark the occasion and promote some great causes. What more do you want from a night out?"

Tickets for this pre-festival warm-up for the summer ahead are priced at £11. To buy tickets to the Strummerville Spring Sessions, click here.
