tickets will go on sale on Friday 5th November

news: Tuesday 26th October 2010

Foo Fighters have announced they will be making two UK shows in 2011.

The rockers will play two outdoor gigs at Milton Keynes Bowl next July, with support for the shows coming from Biffy Clyro, with Jimmy Eat World or Death Cab For Cutie. It's not yet known whether more dates will be added.

It has been a while since the FF's have played the UK. Frontman Dave Grohl has been busy with side-project supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, whilst drummer Taylor Hawkings has been touring with his own group The Coattail Riders.

The band are expected to showcase a few new songs from their, as yet untitled, seventh studio album recorded earlier this year.

Foo Fighters have announced the following 2011 UK shows:

Sat 02 July Milton Keynes Bowl, Milton Keynes (support form Death Cab For Cutie and Biffy Clyro)
Sun 03 July Milton Keynes Bowl, Milton Keynes (support from Jimmy Eat World and Biffy Clyro)

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 5th November and egigs will have links to buy them then.
