The Kooks and Ellie Goulding join Little Noise Sessions

The Kooks and Ellie Goudling have been added to the line-up for for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions which celebrates their 5th year, held from Monday 15th ­to Saturday 20th November at Islington's Union Chapel.

Joining The Kooks on Thursday 18th November will be special guests Example, John Bramwell (I Am Kloot), We Are Scientists and Leah Mason with tickets priced at £35.

Ellie Goulding will headline the last night, Saturday 20th November, with support from special guests, Stornoway and Tinashé and tickets are priced at £25.

They join the previously confirmed acts including headliners Tom Jones, Paolo Nutini, and Hurts alongside special guests Lauren Pritchard, Rumer, Michael Kiwanuka, Clare Maguire, and Joe Worricker.

Luke Pritchard from The Kooks said, "We are really honoured to be asked back again as last time we played we really enjoyed the show. We love this venue as it has a special sense of occasion to it. It has also been a long time since we played London and it's great to be coming back and doing something different and will be a cool place for us to play some of our new songs. Look forward to seeing you all in November."

Over six nights the acts will perform acoustically in the exquisite surroundings of the Union Chapel. The stripped back music mixed with the intimate venue gives the audience the chance to see something truly unique each night.

This year will also see the return of Mencap's Big Noise Sessions, which makes its London debut in December, the acts have not yet been announced. Last year's inaugural event saw Coldplay perform a one-off homecoming gig in Exeter all in aid of Mencap.

There are 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK, who are among the most excluded and disadvantaged people in our society. Money raised at Mencap's Little Noise Sessions will go to Mencap arts awards projects to help people with a learning disability. Mencap directly supports people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose and challenge prejudice.
