ZZ Top announce a brace of UK shows

with Steel Panther, tickets on sale on Friday

news: Wednesday 5th August 2009

Rock veterans ZZ Top will return to the UK this October to play two headline shows at Wembley Arena and Wolverhampton Civic Hall. ZZ Top have been together for 40 years and never once has their line up changed. The 80s was a purple patch for the band who played Download Festival earlier this year, they have had a string of hits, including 'Gimme All Your Loving', 'Sharp Dressed Man', and 'Legs'.

Support for the shows will come from axe shredding, spandex wearing, banter lovin' Steel Panther who played a well received set at Download this year. Known for their loud stage presence, guitar riffs, and raucous banter they hail from L.A.'s longest running heavy metal show, appearing on the Sunset Strip for nearly a decade.

The tour dates are as follows:

Tue 27 October Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
Wed 27 October Wembley Arena, London

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday 7th August 2009, priced £37.50 for Wolverhampton and £40.00 for London, and eGigs will have links for you to buy them then.
