Frank Turner announces tour and new album

Million Dead singer turned folk troubador Frank Turner has announced a new forthcoming album and dates for his biggest headline tour.

The singer who is playing at SXSW in Austin, Texas including appearing on the 'Jail Guitar Doors' bill. The initiative set up by Billy Bragg to put guitars into prisons, in memory of Clash frontman, Joe Strummer. He'll then be travelling up the West Coast for a run of dates.

When he returns to the UK his third studio album, 'Poetry Of The Deed' will be recorded live with his band. Before they enter the studio Frank and the band will be road-testing the new material at four exclusive sold out gigs in April at Oxford's Wheatsheaf (Tue 28th and Wed 29th) and Cellar Bar (Thu 30th and Fri 1st). The album is scheduled for release in October alongside the UK tour.

Tickets will be priced at £10, £13 in London, and will go on sale on Friday 6th March at 9pm. Doors 7pm. eGigs will have links where available for you to buy tickets then. Supports for all dates are Fake Problems, and Beans On Toast.
