The band, who have been touring and recording for 20 years, have decided this is a fitting time to hitch up their wagons and ride into the sunset.
They first rose to fame with their second album, 'Laughing on Judgement Day' which peaked at number two in the UK album charts. Now, after twenty top-50 singles and nine studio albums, the band said it was the right time to split, something they have done before, in 2000. Only to re-form two years later.
The band said in a statement, "We've played loads of fantastic shows over the last 20 years, but we want all the shows between now and when we go to be the best we've ever done. We really hope you'll want to be there to help us to do that. And Thanks for everything."
Their tour dates are as follows:
Fri 03 July Academy, Manchester
Sat 04 July City Hall, Sheffield
Sun 05 July Corn Exchange, Cambridge
Tue 07 July City Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne
Wed 08 July Rock City, Nottingham

Sat 11 July 02 Shepherds Bush Empire, London
