news: Tuesday 13th January 2009

Los Angelean brothers Ron and Russell Mael, better known as the non-conformist Sparks will be returning to Britain for two special nights at The Forum, London.

Last year Sparks performed live all 21 of their albums in 21 nights in London. This time around the pair, whose career has spans four decades, have chosen to partner two profoundly different albums with their current, 21st, album 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep'. The two nights will see the masters of reinvention taking genre-hopping to a new level as they embrace glam rock, disco, art rock and pop opera.

On Friday 20th March Sparks will perform their most recent album 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep' and 1974's 'Kimono My House', to be followed by a selection of assorted Sparks favourites.

On Saturday 21st March Sparks will again perform 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep' this time with 1979's Giorgio Moroder collaboration 'No. 1 In Heaven', plus a selection of assorted Sparks favourites.

Tickets for the shows are priced at £19.50, and can be bought by clicking here.
