Metallica announce arena tour

Californian heavy rockers Metallica have announced they will hit the road again with a European Arena Tour, their first in over five years. Support will come from The Sword and Machine Head.

The band recently released their 12th album in their 27 year career 'Death Magnetic which hit the No. 1 slot in 32 countries.

Their tour dates are:

Thu 26 February MEN Arena, Manchester
Sat 28 February Sheffield Arena, Sheffield
Mon 02 March O2 Arena, London
Tue 03 March Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle upon Tyne
Wed 25 March LG NEC Arena, Birmingham
Thu 26 March SECC Arena, Glasgow
Sat 28th O2 Arena, London

Tickets are priced at £45 in London and £40 in all other areas. Tickets for these shows go on sale at 9am on Friday 24th October, and eGigs will have links to buy them then.
