Page is reported by The Telegraph (here) as saying that the band is ready to reunite and perform more live events, but not until 2009.
Led Zeppelin reformed for a one-off show at the O2 Arena in London last December to pay tribute to Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.
A world tour for this year was out of the question because of prior touring commitments for their lead singer Robert Plant, who is currently touring the US in support of his album with Alison Krauss.
Page and bassist John Paul Jones appeared with the Foo Fighters to perform two Led Zep songs, 'Rock and Roll' and 'Ramble On'. Page then suggested that a Led Zeppelin tour might well happen in the second half of 2009.
The newspaper reports:
In an interview after that concert, Page said the band were ready to reunite and perform more live events.
But he said that fans could have to wait until Autumn 2009 as band members had to tie up individual projects first.
