Bomb The Bass celebrate 20 years of acid house

To celebrate 20 years of acid house, (has it been that long!) one of the leading innovators from the 80s and 90s Acid House movement, Bomb The Bass (who also had one of the first sample based chart hits with 'Beat Dis'), will be making history on Wednesday 4th June at London's Astoria, when they perform their first live show in for 20 years and preceed the highly anticipated show at this year's Big Chill festival.

Support will come from A Human, Pravda (France), My Toys Like Me, U R Penetrators, Les Hommes Du Train, Fine Cut Bodies (Hungary), and Ben Osborne (of Noise of Art), behind the decks, it promises to be a night to remember.

Finally, connecting the dots between old rave and new talent, all these acts are playing at the Astoria where 1988s legendary acid house raves, 'The Trip', were held.

This gig is part of the third Noise of Art summer event which will take place over a week on the Southbank and around central London and will include art installations, club nights, gigs and music and film events. It will follow two lead up events in London, including the just highlighted June event at the Astoria (with Bomb the Bass playing live for the first time in 20 years) and culminate in a specially made live set from Berlin's Booka Shade performing music to Helio's rare 1911 film 'Inferno'.
