Paul Weller could be fined £200 after he ignored the smoking ban and lit up twice during one gig.During his performance at the London Astoria, he apparently lit up and announced that This is the best drug known to man!".
The law was introduced in England and Wales on July 1st, and means that anyone caught smoking inside an enclosed venue could be fined up to £200. The venue could also receive a fine of £2,500, due to Weller's decision to ignore the new legislation.
