A young man died in a mosh pit at a Smashing Pumpkins gig that took place on Monday night (September 24th) in Vancouver, Canada.The man was unconscious when he was taken from the crowd inside the PNE Forum venue, and was pronounced dead at the nearby St Paul's Hospital.
Police have said that the circumstances surrounding the man's death are "not suspicious", and a spokeswoman for the venue has commented that "It's just a really, really sad ending to what started out to be probably a very fun night for a young man."
