The short-list has been announced for this year's Mercury Music Prize.Arctic Monkeys have been nominated again, and could be the first band to win the award two years in succession.
They are joint 4/1 favourites to win with Amy Winehouse. Previous winners have included Dizzee Rascal (nominated again this year), Franz Ferdinand, PJ Harvey, Badly Drawn Boy, and Primal Scream.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony on Sept 4, and will receive a sum of £20,000.
The 12 nominated albums are:
