Arctic Monkey's cause a stir in Dundee

news: Wednesday 18th April 2007

Arctic Monkeys @ Leeds Festival 2006 Arctic Monkeys sparked off spectacular scenes in the Dundee Caird Hall last night (Tuesday 17th April) on their current UK tour. During 'When The Sun Goes Down', two men leapt from the venues balcony onto the speaker stack, causing security to rush to the scene.

High above the stage and the crowd, the two men attempted to rouse the crowd, and after frontman Alex Turner stopped mid-song to let the two men climb down, he brought one on stage, who shook the hands of each of the band members, before stagediving into the crowd. Some damage was sustained to the balcony of the recently refurnished Caird Hall.

Arctic Monkeys go on to play the Glasgow Barrowlands tonight (18th April), before travelling down to England for shows in Birmingham, Sheffield and Cardiff. To buy tickets click here.
