Sheffield quartet the Arctic Monkeys have announced details of an 11 date UK tour this Spring.Brianstorm, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album Favourite Worst Nightmare, will be released on Monday 16th April, with the group's second album out a week later on Monday the 23rd.

In an attempt to combat touts, and to reward their loyal fans, tickets will only be available for those on the band's official mailing list. The opportunity to buy tickets will then be determined through a ballot allowing everyone to have the best and equal chance to get tickets for the upcoming tour.
The mailing list will close at 19.00 on Wednesday the 14th of March. People who have signed up to the mailing list will then be mailed and asked to register for one venue and date only including your age and postal address.
All successful applicants will be selected completely randomly by computer. You will be told on Friday afternoon by email if you have been successful and given a unique PIN to use on the Arctic Monkeys web site, to order your tickets. Your pin is exclusive to you and you can only use it once, if you pass on your details to someone else you may miss your chance to buy your tickets, so keep it safe!
Your registration must be completed by Midnight on Monday 19th March.
