Harrods are attempting to break the world record for the most guitarists playing one song simultaneously.The Knightsbridge based department store is aiming to get 2,000 guitarists to perform Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water' at 8am on Sunday February 18th.
The record was set in Vancouver back in 1994 when 1,322 guitarists jammed along to 'Takin' care of business' by Bachman-Turner Overdrive.
All guitarists will get earplugs, a plectrum, T-shirt, and a chance at assorted prizes.
