KT Tunstall performs live at environmental awareness party

news: Friday 19th January 2007

Earlier this week Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall performed at an environmentally aware after-party at the annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverley Hills, California.

The event was co-presented by Global Cool, who aim to help defeat global warming through awareness-raising collaborations with high profile artists.

Global Cool's website has released a 30 minute stream of the singers performance. She performed 'Another Place To Fall', 'Other Side Of The World', 'Black Horse And A Cherry Tree', 'Universe & U', 'Stoppin' The Love' and 'Suddenly I See'.

Global Cool’s 10-year campaign aims to encourage individuals to drastically reduce their personal CO2 emissions. KT got involved with the campaign at last year’s Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, and over the past year has been taking a green stance on touring. She has offset the CO2 emissions of her headline US tour and has been running her tour bus on environmentally-friendly biodiesel fuel.
