Wembley Stadium's Chief Executive, Michael Cunnah, said: "Wembley Stadium is a world-class music and sporting venue and we are thrilled that top British rock band Muse is going to be one of the first music acts to play here next June.
The stadium is looking magnificent and with good progress being made on site we are aiming to open as early as possible in 2007. We are currently in discussions with a number of event owners and promoters and the interest in the new Stadium as London's newest and greatest venue is fantastic. There are likely to be further events announced over the next few months."
