Keane's live show turns dangerous

news: Thursday 26th October 2006

KeaneNot much seems to be going right for Keane at the moment. They had to pull short their gig at the Brighton Centre last night.

The band had been playing for around an hour and 20 minutes, and were just entering the encore when a lighting rig crashed onto the stage, prompting an evacuation of the venue.

Nobody was hurt, but due to health and safety everyone was forced to leave the venue immediatly. The rest of the bands UK tour will continue unaffected. They will play the first of two consecutive nights at Alexandra Palace tonight.

This news comes just weeks after Tom Chaplin’s band went back on the road after his stint in the Priory rehab clinic.

The band will also release their new single ’Nothing in My Way’ on October 30th.
