The American hip-hop star went into retirement after his 2003 release 'Black Album', but has now decided to play shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Dublin.
Jay-Z will also play a tenth anniversary gig for his debut album 'Beyond Reasonable Doubt' in New York on June 25th.
Tickets for Jay-Z's UK and Ireland tour are due to go on sale at 9am on Friday 23rd of June.
