RSS Feed (Really Simple Syndication)

What is RSS?
Put simply, it's a way of keeping up to date with what's new at your chosen websites, without having to visit them to see if there's anything new - the latest information is delivered automatically.

How do I use RSS feeds?
You need to get a special bit of software, called an RSS Reader. Don't worry - many are free!

So which RSS Reader should I use?
It's up to you - there's a huge choice.
We'll have some recommendations soon - in the meantime, please see google for their list of RSS readers.

Using the eGigs.co.uk RSS feed on your website
We encourage the use of our RSS feed as part of a website, subject to our RSS Terms and Conditions:-

	We require that the proper format and attribution is used when eGigs.co.uk content appears. The attribution text should read "from eGigs.co.uk", and that text hyperlinked back to the relevant article or to the website home page. You may not use the eGigs.co.uk logo.
	We grant you a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the content of the RSS feed subject to being properly credited and attributed. The licence may be terminated at any time, and with no period of notice.
	Websites covered in the 'Excluded websites' section (see below) may not use the RSS feeds.
	We reserve the right to prevent the distribution of these RSS feeds.
	To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are excluded from any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage arising out of this agreement including in relation to the RSS feed or any content on the eGigs.co.uk website.

Excluded websites
The RSS feeds content contained in the RSS feeds may only be displayed on websites that do not fall into any one or more of the categories listed below. A site will be deemed to fall within one of the following categories where there is a material and prominent section of the site that falls within such category.
1. Sites that incite hatred whether based on race, gender or sexuality
2. Sites that promote, encourage or facilitate violence
3. Sites that promote, facilitate or encourage illegal activity
4. Sites which are misleading, pornographic, defamatory, or that contain illegal, or otherwise actionable content under UK law
