Queen Adreena

Queen Adreena have been extremely busy since the last time they played at Rock City back in March. Since that last Rock City gig- they have managed to squeeze in an appearance at the legendary Download festival as well as finding time to release not one but two albums (although one of them was a live album).

As always with Queen Adreena, you never know what to expect, vocalist Katie Jane Garside is quite simply unpredictable and this show was no exception.

The opening track 'Kitty Collar Tight' instantly impressed the audience who started to bounce around and sing along with Katie. As always Katie had her trusted bottle of wine close at hand, and at various points throughout the show would consume it like a cat laps up milk!

Katie just oozes sex appeal with her gyrating and pulsating, rhythmic body movements along to the music. Not only is she able to catch peoples attention with her music- but also with her stage antics - she is frequently going into the audience and standing on amplifiers or chairs to create a show that really allows her to be up close and personal with the fans.

Sadly this gig had to be cut short due to an incident, which caused Katie some serious damage to her legs. She slipped of an amplifier and due to the injury sustained, she had to be carried off stage by medical personnel!
