Bloc Party take it big

Bloc Party have announced a tour for October, taking a step up from the smaller venues they're playing during their near sold-out March & April dates to some of the larger venues in the country.

The dates are:
Thu 6 Oct : Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne
Sat 8 Oct : The Junction, Cambridge
Sun 9 Oct : Norwich U.E.A., Norwich
Mon 10 Oct : Guildhall, Portsmouth
Wed 12 Oct : Octagon (Sheffield University), Sheffield
Thu 13 Oct : Carling Academy (1, 2 & Bar), Birmingham
Sun 16 Oct : Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham
Mon 17 Oct : Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool
Tue 18 Oct : Leeds University, Leeds
Thu 20 Oct 2005 Carling Apollo, Manchester
Sat 22 Oct 2005 De Montfort Hall, Leicester
Fri 28 Oct 2005 Carling Academy Brixton, London

Tickets for these new dates go on sale at 9am on Friday 25th February. Tickets are still available for their shows at London's Astoria on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th April - click here for details.
